D.M.I. Films
D.M.I. Films or “Doing Ministry in Films” was birthed from three Greek concepts used in scripture:
- Dialegomai – to discuss or to reason. In New Testament times, public dialogue and debate were valued as means of exploring and understanding truth.
- Ménuó ‐ to reveal, to inform, or to make known. The verb ménuó is used in the context of disclosing information, often with the purpose of informing someone of something they have not heard before.
- Iasis – a cure or healing. Iasis refers to the act of healing or the process of being healed. The word iasis emphasizes the restoration of health and wholeness, both physically and spiritually.
At the core of D.M.I. Films is the belief that the communication of the Gospel in a relevant way can reveal the love of Christ to those who are hurting and bring them to a place where they can be healed from all wounds. The goal of D.M.I. Films is not to convince someone into a relationship with Christ, but to spark a discussion where truth can be tested to be true and where people can see the Gospel in a way they have not seen before.
