Our Mission

It is our mission to bring the hope of the Gospel to those who have never heard, no matter the cost, and to empower others to do the same.

To accomplish our mission

What we are doing:

  • Uniting the church across denominational, cultural, and racial boundaries
  • Serving as a catalyst for transformation by casting vision for renewal and revival and telling our story
  • Empowering existing and emerging leaders with tools to effect change
  • Establishing relevant, effective outreach among the unchurched and unreached in spiritually dark places
  • Developing a prayer and financial support base for sustainable ministry
  • Identifying and equipping leaders to assume responsibility and ownership of ministry
  • Bringing honor to God through fulfillment of the Great Commission mandate
  • Pray Establishing prayer initiatives, uniting followers of Christ and focusing on the One who must lead any effort for change.
  • Network Developing partnerships across denominational, cultural, and racial boundaries.
  • Empower Empowering children, youth and families to fulfill the destinies God has uniquely designed for each of them, providing hope for tomorrow.
  • Equip Establishing strategic outreach and equipping existing and emerging leaders to implement relevant strategies that give the unchurched and unreached the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Our Story

While directing a successful short-term missions agency commissioning mission teams around the world, Dr. Tom Grassano led a team of college students to do outreach in New York City. In May 1992, God changed his life on a street in the South Bronx. This community was one of the poorest and most violent communities in our nation. The streets were filled with drugs and gangs. Dr. Grassano walked into a store not knowing it was a drug front. While standing on the street outside, looking at an abandoned coffin factory, the Lord spoke to him and said, “Prepare yourself, Tom, I have future ministry for you here.”

A Diverse and Inclusive Community

Our curriculum appeals to student diversity and interest, and is rigorous and challenging. We understand each child comes to us with different talents, learning styles, and identities. And we celebrate that difference because our diversity is our strength.

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of our church and fully submit ourselves to His will. In every aspect of our ministry our goal is always to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. Therefore, we submit ourselves to its teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become what Christ desires for us to be.

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church will be characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.


We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.

Jerry is responsible for the team and cultural development at and helps shape the overall direction and leadership of the church.

Pastor, Innovation Leader
Samantha is passionate about exploring new ideas and finding practical ways to leverage them for the global Church.

Sam Roberts

Pastor, Campus Leadership
Sam is directly responsible for the leadership of all physical locations and their staff teams, including Campus Pastors.
