Hope for the City '07 Report

New York

Christians from around the U.S. descended upon the South Bronx to work with The Harvest Center during several weeks of strategic outreach and prayer in the spring and summer of 2007. Through drama, music, sports camps, various outreaches and one-on-one evangelism, we were ambassadors to bring Hope to the City through Jesus Christ.

Many people received Christ as their personal savior and began a beautiful journey to fulfill their God-given destinies. Our days are filled with divine appointments and encounters with people arrange in heaven for their salvation. To read specific testimonies, see page two of our August 2007 newsletter.

In June, pastors and leaders from area churches came to The Harvest Center to pray together for our community and to seek leadership and partnership from Urban Harvest Ministries in strategic outreach and evangelism. This united prayer and partnership continues to this day.

The Spirit of God is at work, touching lives, transforming people, changing the inner city for His glory!
